Integrated/Indonesia Veterinary Laboratory Information System
iVLAB is Indonesia’s national animal health and production information system, Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia.
The Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health (Ditjen PKH) is currently developing an integrated Laboratory Information System or known as the iVLab Application (integrated Veterinary Laboratory Information System) to support the control of animal and zoonotic diseases. This is important as it aligns with the growing development and use of on-line information systems that speed up the flow of information from the field to the laboratory and onto decision makers both at national and subnational levels. The efficient management of this information will facilitate the process of policy development for improved control of animal disease and zoonoses. The iVLab system development was conducted by Prevalensi with support from Flemming Fund Grand Indonesia and AIHSP Program. .
